May 16-2017, According to the latest vote count of kathmandu Metropolitan City, CPN- UML takes in the mayoral post.
Bidya Sunder Shakya of CPN-UML has garnered 623 Votes leaving behind Raju Raj Joshi of nepali Congress(NC) , who has 623 votes.
And Ranju neupane of Bibeksheel Nepali has 233 votes also Kishor Thapa From Sajha Parts has equal vote.
