Mi Nepal has finally launched the Redmi 5A here in Nepal after the great success in India. The primary focus of the Redmi 5A will be the budget segment of the market where the device will be competing with similar offerings from other manufacturers. But before diving into the price let’s see what Redmi 5A has to offer first.

Redmi 5A Specification and overview:

On the front, the device features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display. On top, one can find the earpiece and a 5MP f/2.0 front facing and the proximity sensor. On the bottom there are the usual touch capacitive buttons. Under the hood, the device comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Quad-core SOC, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via dedicated microSD card slot. Sadly, the 3GB RAM variant of the device is not made available in Nepal as of now.

On the rear the device features a 13MP f/2.2 camera with PDAF and LED flash at the top left and a loudspeaker grill at the bottom. The back of the device is made out of polycarbonate plastic material but gives metal like finish and does not feel cheap.
